Hackathon / Makerthon Competition

April 18 - April 19

Free

Today’s technology is all about hardware, software, and how best to mix the two. The Lewis Innovation Hub, the Lewis Student Chapter of the IEEE, and the Lewis Chapter of ACM-W are teaming up to host a pair of simultaneous 24-hour events that showcase innovation in both realms. The Makerthon will challenge students to design, build, test, and demonstrate a new product that achieves a specified task. The Hackathon will task students with developing, implementing, and testing a new piece of software, whether it be a game, a media app, or a productivity tool. Together, these two events will showcase the amazing creativity and technical prowess of Lewis’s students.
